Terms of Service

The terms on which Yusrin is provided, in plain language.

Last updated:

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you, the business using Yusrin, and Yusrin, which is operated from Oman. Using the service means accepting them.

What the service does

Yusrin lets a business create quotes, convert an accepted quote into a tax invoice, share both, and track what has been paid.

Yusrin is not accounting software, is not a tax advisor, and is not an accredited e-invoicing service provider. It produces documents; it does not file returns and does not transmit invoices to the Oman Tax Authority.

What Fawtara-ready means, and what it does not

Yusrin produces documents that carry the fields Article 144 requires, so they are ready for the Fawtara e-invoicing system. That is what Fawtara-ready means, and it is the whole of what it means.

Yusrin does not transmit, file or submit anything to the Oman Tax Authority on your behalf. It is not connected to the Authority. Nothing you do in Yusrin is reported to anyone. If you need a document filed, you file it.

Yusrin is not a substitute for professional tax advice. Your compliance remains yours.

What you are responsible for

The content of the documents you issue is yours. Yusrin calculates totals and tax from what you enter and includes the fields Article 144 requires, but it cannot know whether a price, a customer VAT number or a description is correct.

You remain responsible for meeting your own tax obligations, including issuing invoices within the period the Regulations set and keeping records for the required years.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what is done through your account.

Subscription and payment

The free plan allows five issued tax invoices per calendar month, counted in Muscat time. Quotes are never limited. The count resets at the start of each Muscat calendar month.

A voided invoice still counts against the month in which it was issued, because it was issued and the invoice number was used. Correcting an invoice means issuing a credit note against it, which is a separate document and does not restore the original to your allowance.

Only invoices you issue while on the free plan count towards it. Invoices issued during a paid subscription are not counted, so if a subscription lapses you are not met with a month that is already used up.

A paid subscription removes that limit and is billed monthly or annually, in Omani rials. Current prices are on the pricing page and in the app, where the price shown to you comes from the App Store.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

Subscriptions are bought and managed inside the Yusrin app. Apple is the seller of record and processes the payment, so cancellation is done from your Apple subscription settings and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. A subscription that is not renewed reverts to the free plan; the account and its documents are not deleted.

Because Apple is the seller, your receipt for a subscription comes from Apple and not from us. We do not issue a tax invoice for a Yusrin subscription. If you need documentation for the subscription itself, it is the receipt Apple sends you.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. If something has gone wrong, contact us anyway and we will help you sort it out, including with the refund request itself.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and do not promise it will never be unavailable. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside Omani working hours where possible.

Documents you have issued remain retrievable, and export is available so that your records are not dependent on the service continuing.

Acceptable use

Do not use Yusrin to issue documents you know to be false, to impersonate another business, or to send anything unlawful. Do not attempt to access another business’s data or to disrupt the service.

An account used this way can be suspended.

Liability

Yusrin is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Yusrin at any time and can request deletion of your account. Records the Regulations require to be kept are retained for as long as that obligation lasts, which the privacy policy explains.

We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where circumstances allow.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Oman have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes and subscribers are told before the change takes effect.
