About
Built in Oman, for Omani invoicing rules
Yusrin starts from the Omani requirement instead of arriving at it. Quotes come first, because that is how the work actually begins.

Yusrin is a bilingual quote and invoice app for VAT-registered businesses in Oman.
How it is built
Integer baisa, per-group VAT, and no edited invoices
Money is whole baisa and never a decimal fraction. VAT is computed per rate group, the way the Regulations describe. An issued invoice is corrected by a credit note, never edited.
Why it exists
A VAT-registered business in Oman has to issue a tax invoice carrying every field Article 144 requires, in Arabic, within 15 days, numbered sequentially. Most of the software available to do that was built for a different market and adapted afterwards, which is why so much of it gets Arabic wrong, rounds Omani rials to two decimal places, or treats the tax invoice as a printout rather than a legal document.
Yusrin starts from the Omani requirement instead of arriving at it. The quote comes first because that is how the work actually begins: a customer asks what something costs, and the business that answers fastest and clearest tends to get the job. The tax invoice is one tap from the accepted quote, carrying the same lines, because retyping is where errors enter.
How it is built
Money is held as whole baisa and calculated with integer arithmetic, never as a decimal fraction. That is not a technical preference. Omani rials carry three decimal places, and floating-point arithmetic on money produces totals that are wrong by a baisa in ways that are hard to see and hard to explain to a customer.
VAT is calculated per rate group rather than per line and summed, which is the method the Regulations describe and the one that gives the same total a tax authority would compute. Invoice numbers are assigned inside the transaction that issues the document, so the sequence has no gaps even if two invoices are issued at the same moment.
Arabic and English are stored as separate fields and written by hand. Nothing is machine-translated, because a document that reads like a translation undermines the business sending it.
An issued tax invoice is never edited. Corrections are made by issuing a credit note against the original, which is the only mechanism the Regulations provide. The database enforces that with triggers rather than trusting the application to behave.
What Yusrin is not
Yusrin is not accounting software. It does not keep a ledger, produce financial statements, or file a VAT return. It handles the document a business sends to its customer and the record of who has paid.
Yusrin is not an accredited e-invoicing service provider. Under the five-corner model Oman uses, e-invoices reach the Tax Authority through a provider accredited for that purpose, and Yusrin is not one. It produces the document; transmission from your Fawtara phase date happens through an accredited provider.
Yusrin does not give tax advice. The compliance pages on this site cite the article and decision behind every claim so a reader can check them, and an accountant or tax advisor remains the right person to ask about a specific situation.
Where your data lives
Business data is stored in the European Union, in Ireland. IP addresses are hashed rather than stored, and the mobile app never holds a key that could read another business’s data.
The privacy policy sets out what is collected and how to make a request about it.
